Indiana Jones, Look No Further

I don't do all of the activities in our Sonlight homeschool curriculum, but some of them I do, and I'm really glad I do them with Ellie. This was one of those activities. Ellie and I made an Ark of the Covenant. Do you know what was in the Ark of the Covenant?

First, we put in a twig to represent Aaron's budding staff.

Then we put in some bread to represent the manna.

And, of course, then there were the ten commandments.

We put them all in our gold covered Tang box. :)

And, voila! I present to you the Ark of the Covenant.

Is this a curriculum that you can use without doing homeschool?

Carie, we started in January, so we're just going... and we do it really relaxed, so there's no need to take a break. When we are worn out or busy, we just don't do it. :)
Charlotte, I don't know what you mean. :) If you go on Sonlight's website, you can see the books and stuff available... both preschools are really just a lot of reading with activities... some tiny things that actually seem like learning, but mostly just a bunch of pure fun. :)

how great that you take so much time to make know the fact of the Bible to your children. Wish more parents would take a few and make it fun to learn about God. Keep up the good job.
