Abe paints our floor with water.
Five leaves is the English translation of our last name. Lima is five and Rii is a kind of tree leaf in To'abaita (Franklin's language).

Cabbage snack
My kids love to eat cabbage as a snack. I never did this as a kid and I can't remember how we figured it out, but it's true. And since they were nibbling on it, I tried it and found out I like it too. So we just cut up our cabbage and put it on the table. Yum.

Ellie's surprise for Abe
Abe was going out win his Daddy. As he left, Ellie said, I'll have a surprise for you when you come home!" So, while they were out, Ellie sewed up a kabilato for Abe.
I think the giver of the gift was more excited about it than the receiver. :)

Climbing!
This little girl is made up of the same material as her big brother! Sitting, then standing, then cruising, then climbing. It wasn't that long ago she was just sitting around. She even takes steps now. Hoping to put up a video soon. :)

A missing tooth
This is an older picture... from December (because I can see the Christmas tree in the background). Ellie lost her first tooth! Her second tooth came out DURING our New Year's Eve party. You can imagine the looks on our guests faces, when we picked up her tooth from the mat... seriously. :)

Christmas cookies
These were also influenced by Pinterest. :) From making them I learned that you really do need wax paper when you make them and that you shouldn't try to make them in a rush on Christmas morning when you have guests coming for lunch. I thought it'd be so easy because we had tried them before... you really should take your time with these. :)

Merry Christmas 2014.
Christmas was fun. Because we buy little gifts for st. Nicholas day, for the last few years I've made homemade gifts for Christmas. (I didn't in the states, though.) This year, Ellie got slippers, Abe got a bag, and Ana got slippers. Franklin got sewn covers for his ukuleles. I had my house helper help me sew them. I even made myself a homemade planner... printing off various pages I liked from the Internet. (I was heavily influenced by pinterest for both St. Nicholas Day and Christmas!)
I even found gift labels on pinterest!
Christmas morning.
Thank you Hanna for adding to our wrapped gift collection!
Merry Christmas....even if it is more than a month later!
